HURST -- This break-in definitely wasn’t by a cat burglar.
An apartment resident told Hurst police that when she confronted a bad guy in her apartment last week, he growled at her.
Then, he ran to her balcony, jumped off and ran away.
No one had been arrested as of Tuesday.

The burglary happened after 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday in the 500 block of Northeast Loop 820 in Hurst.
The woman, who was not identified, reported that the man entered her apartment through a partially open sliding glass door.
In a living room, the woman encountered the man who didn’t say a word, but just made the noises.
The burglar was described as a white man about 5-foot-8 with tanned skin and short brown hair.
He was wearing an orange and white horizontal-striped Polo-type collared pullover shirt with long blue shorts past his knees.
The shorts could have been swimming trunks.
