Fort Worth Transportation Authority seeks public input on 25-year plan

If you were king or queen for a day, what changes would you make to the Fort Worth area's public transportation system?

In a broad sense, that's the question the Fort Worth Transportation Authority is asking residents this week.

The agency, also called the T, is holding two meetings Thursday to gather comments from residents about what improvements to bus, rail, sidewalk and other forms of transportation they would like to see over the next 25 years.

The comments will be used to rewrite the T's long-term strategic plan, which will be presented to the Fort Worth City Council on May 18.

Where: Intermodal Transportation Center, 1001 Jones St., Fort Worth

When: Two meetings, at noon and 6 p.m. Thursday.
