'Rock the Green Revolution' makes first stop in Southlake

It's almost Earth Day, so celebrate by educating yourself about all things green. A new traveling exhibit, "Rock the Green Revolution," makes its first stop this spring in Southlake at the Bob Jones Nature Center.

"Rock the Green Revolution" is a hands-on exhibit that examines five important issues: food, water, energy, climate and waste. With indoor and outdoor elements, the exhibit shows us where the Earth is in trouble -- and what we can do to protect it. The exhibit is designed for children and adults alike, offering a chance to learn more about how to reduce, reuse, recycle and limit your carbon footprint.

It opens just in time for the Bob Jones Nature Center's second anniversary, next week.
