The fire was reported shortly after 4 a.m. at Hydro-Expo, 2929 Alta Mere Drive, said engineer Tim Hardeman, department spokesman. The business sells supplies for hydroponic gardening. A liquid was used to set the fire, according to a news release. Investigators are awaiting lab tests to confirm the type of liquid, Hardeman said.
