A Johnson County man sought for questioning in the bruising of a 6-month-old child was arrested late Wednesday on Airport Freeway in Euless, according to a news release from Sheriff Bob Alford.
Sean Phillip Georges, 30, was being held Thursday morning at the Johnson County Jail, the news release stated.
Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday announced they were looking for Georges after he failed to show up earlier for a scheduled interview with investigators.
The case began Sunday when staffers at Cook Children's Medical Center called Johnson County investigators about a suspected injury to a child.

When investigators arrived at the hospital, they saw a despondent 6-month-old with several suspicious bruises on his body that looked as though they were caused by physical abuse, sheriff's officials said Wednesday.
Those investigators reviewed medical records and interviewed several people. Based on their findings, they issued an arrest warrant accusing Georges of injuring a child, the officials said.
Georges was scheduled to interview with sheriff's investigators on Wednesday but did not show, said Lt. Tim Jones, Johnson County sheriff's department.
The child on Wednesday was in stable condition and in the custody of Child Protective Services, Jones said.
Details about how Georges was located and his connection to the boy were unavailable Thursday morning.
