The Big 12 hasn't had a conference championship game in four years, but one game will now decide who wins the Big 12 this year.
Blake Bell led a game-winning, eight-play, 66-yard touchdown drive that he capped off with a seven-yard scoring strike in the back corner of the end zone to Jalen Saunders. That gave Oklahoma a 33-24 upset victory over Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Saturday, making Texas' regular season finale against Baylor in Waco a de facto conference title game.
The Sooners upset the Cowboys, 27-24, meaning that the winner between the Bears and Longhorns at the final game played in Floyd Casey Stadium will win the Big 12 outright and earn an automatic BCS bowl berth. Oklahoma State now has two losses in conference play while the Texas-Baylor winner will end the regular season with only one defeat against a Big 12 opponent this year.
After starting the season 1-2, Texas is looking for its first conference title since 2009.
