Apple & Sage Pork Chops

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Makes 4 servings

Spice package includes

1 1/2 tsp. McCormick® Rubbed Sage

1 tsp. McCormick® Minced garlic

1 tsp. McCormick® Thyme Leaves

1/2 tsp. McCormick® Ground Allspice

1/2 tsp. McCormick® Paprika

You will need

1 tbsp. flour

1 tsp. salt

4 boneless pork chops, 1-inch thick (about 1 1/4lbs.)

2 tbsp. olive oil

1 medium onion thinly sliced

2 red apples, thinly sliced

1/2 cup apple juice

1 tbsp. brown sugar


1. Mix flour, all of the spices and salt in small bowl until well blended. Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with 1
tablespoon of the seasoned flour.

2.Cook pork chops in hot oil in large skillet on medium-high heat until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet. Add onion; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender. Add apples; cook and stir 2 minutes.

3. Stir in juice, sugar and remaining seasoned flour until well mixed. Return pork chops to skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes or until desired doneness.

Toss it or keep it: My husband I loved the flavor in this dish. The next time I make it I will remove the onions for the
kiddos testy taste buds. I sauteed some spinich in olive oil for a perfect side to this dish.

Garlic Lime Chicken Fajitas

Prep time: 15 minutes

Marinate: 30 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Makes 8 servings

Spice package includes

1 tsp. McCormick® Minced garlic

1 tsp. McCormick® Minced onions

3/4 tsp. McCormick® Ground Cumin

3/4 tsp. McCormick® Oregano leaves

1/2 tsp. McCormick® Cilantro leaves

1/2 tsp. McCormick® Coarse ground black pepper

You will need

1/4 cup each lime and orange juice

2 tbsp. olive oil

1/2 tsp. salt

1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

1 medium green or red bell pepper, cut into thin strips

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

8 flour tortillas (8-inch)


Mix juices, oil, all of the spices, Spices and salt in small. Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade. Place chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add remaining marinade; turn to coat well. Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor.

Cook and stir chicken in large heated skillet on medium-high heat 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove skillet. Add bell pepper, onion and reserved marinade; cook and stir 5 minutes until tender. Return chicken to skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.

Spoon chicken mixture into warmed tortillas. Serve with assorted toppings, if desired.

Toss it or keep it:My family loves fajitas when we go out to eat and they gave this mix two thumbs up. I added both red and green peppers to mine for some additional flavor and color.
