After a viewing of “Sex in the City 2,” a friend and I were talking about the “good ole days” and how we used to spot Chanel, Gucci and Prada from a mile away. Well for some reason between the couture and the couch, we had lost our finesse. Today my fashion is less spotted on the street and more on TV when I watch Project Runway, but a girl can still dream, can’t she?
Well, Galleria Dallas makes it possible for at least our teens to get a chance to get that “behind the scenes” look at what it takes for the fashion to make it down the runway…with Fashion Camp. In its sixth year, Fashion Camp is what I wish summer camp could have been in my younger years.

During Galleria Dallas Fashion Camp, students will attend classes each morning taught by industry leaders. Marshall’s enthusiasm keeps all participants engaged, despite the busy work schedule.
Campers will spend each afternoon planning and executing a Back-To-School Fashion Show, which Galleria shoppers will enjoy on Saturday, August 7 at 3 p.m. The fashion show will include scenes created by the campers using professional models and Galleria fashions and emceed by Galleria Dallas Fashion Stylist Holly Quartaro along with a surprise celebrity emcee.
