In you Pantry: Hidden Valley burgers and roasted potatoes

If you're like me you love ranch dressing. So when I picked up a box of Hidden Valley Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix, I was pleasantly surprised to find recipes on the back. An added bonus, the individual packets inside have recipes too. Here are a few I tried out for our family.

Hidden Valley Cheeseburgers

Valley Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix

1lb. ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large hamburger buns

Combine Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix with beef and cheese. Shape into 4 patties; cook thoroughly. Serve on toasted buns. Makes 4 servings.

Toss it or keep it: My family loved the tasty twist the seasoning and cheese added to the basic burger.

Tester tip: Pan cook these burgers. The meat becomes so juicy that it stared falling through the grill.

Hidden Valley Roasted Potatoes

1 packet Hidden Valley Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix

2 lbs. small red potatoes, quartered

1/4 vegetable oil

Place potatoes in plastic bag and add oil. Toss and coat. Add Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix and toss again until coated. Bake on ungreased baking pan at 450 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.

Toss it or keep it: These potatoes were super easy to make and turned out perfectly roasted.

Tester tip: For a mess free clean up, line the pan with foil.
