A New Jersey woman was killed Tuesday in a four-car pileup in Mansfield, police said.
Angela Saffo-Daniel, 52, of Robbinsville, N.J.,, was a passenger in a Honda Fit that was broadsided by a pickup during a several-vehicle pileup Tuesday on the icy Heritage Parkway bridge over U.S. Highway 287. Daniel was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
She was one of several people who were either killed or injured in vehicle wrecks brought on by freezing temperatures and light rain that created dangerous driving conditions on several frozen overpasses in North Texas on Monday and Tuesday.
Police said the Fit was crossing the bridge about 3 p.m. when it struck other vehicles that were already wrecked on the bridge.

The Fit was then struck by a pickup that attempted to avoid the pileup shortly after. The cause of the wreck appears to be weather related, police said.
