A husband and wife were discovered shot to death Sunday in a Fort Worth home, police say, in what appears to be a murder-suicide involving a police officer, according to reports.
Irving police said in a statement that Fort Worth police were conducting a homicide investigation involving an Irving officer also serving in the U.S. military.
Irving police would not release any additional information.
KTXA-TV reported on its Web site that a sister of the female discovered the bodies, and that the 36-year-old man died of a single gunshot, while his 34-year-old wife had multiple gunshot wounds.

Police believe that the husband killed his wife before turning the gun on himself, the reports said.
The husband was training for re-deployment to Iraq, the report said.
