A woman and her two children were injured Sunday morning in a car accident in which her infant was ejected from the rolling car.

The accident happened about 7:30 a.m. in the 6900 block of Texas 121, just west of Handley Ederville Road. The car left the roadway and struck a drainage ditch, then a light pole, which sent the vehicle rolling, police said in a news release.

The woman's 6-month-old daughter was ejected, but her 3-year-old son was taken to the hospital remained in the vehicle, possibly suffering internal injuries, the release said.

The woman and the infant were taken to the hospital by air ambulance. The family's names were not released Sunday, and their conditions weren't available.
