A suitcase filled with $4,000 cash was taken Thursday evening from a home in south Fort Worth by three masked men, two of whom had guns, police said.
The robbery was reported at 6:34 p.m. at a home in the the 1100 block of Castle Springs Road, according to reports. The neighborhood is southwest of the intersection of Sycamore School Road and Interstate 35W.
Two women, ages 25 and 27, were in the home with three children, ages 8, 6 and 1, when the three men entered wearing blue and yellow bandannas, police said.
"One of the men had a shotgun and pointed it at the victims," said Lt. Paul Henderson, police spokesman. "The other was in possession of a pistol and fired one round into the kitchen floor which ricocheted into a cabinet.

"The 25-year-old woman was ordered to the bedroom to retrieve $4,000 in cash that she had stashed in a suitcase," Henderson said. "Once the money was in hand, the suspects left through the open garage door."
Henderson said that the suspects "seemed familiar" to the two women.
"The impression is that this was a set up," Henderson said. "That's a lot of cash to have on hand stashed in a suitcase."
