Police in Garland have canceled an Amber Alert after a teenager and her baby were dropped off at a service station by the child's father.
Officers say they believe Larissa Faulkner, 17, and her 10-month-old baby Ezequiel Ruiz Jr. were taken by force Sunday by Ezequiel Ruiz, the 22-year-old father of the baby.
Shortly after an Amber Alert was issued, Faulkner and the baby were let out at a Dallas service station, according to a news release.
Garland police said Faulkner suffered several scrapes and scratches and that the baby appeared OK with no apparent injuries.

Police were continuing to try to locate Ezequiel Ruiz, who was seen driving a 2001 turquoise green Ford F-150 pickup truck with Texas license 38RBL8. Police said they have obtained a warrant for Ruiz on a charge of kidnapping.
