Second bank robbery in two days in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH -- Fort Worth police are looking for a man who robbed the Guaranty Bank at 6801 Hulen St. about 4 p.m. Friday.

Witnesses told police the man first came up to the bank's front door, looked in and walked off, only to return about 20 minutes later.

When he returned, he went inside and told a teller he had a gun, police said. He put an undisclosed amount of money in a white gift sack and left the bank, police said.

A witness followed the man outside the bank and saw him get into a white pickup truck, police said. No other description was available.

This is the second bank robbery in as many days in Fort Worth.

A Frost Bank on Camp Bowie Boulevard was held up on Thursday, but police said they don't believe the same man robbed both banks.
