About a mile of Farm Road 156 along the northwest portion of Fort Worth Alliance Airport will be closed from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show.
The road will be closed during flights of the USAF Thunderbirds, said Michael Peters, spokesman for the Texas Department of Transportation office in Fort Worth.
The Thunderbirds are the aerial maneuver team of the U.S. Air Force.
"Part of their routine is to fly close to the ground," Peters said. "To avoid a traffic hazard, the road is being closed to ensure the safety of the traveling public."
