A man, believed to be in his 50s, has died in a house fire on the south side of Cleburne, according to reports.
The blaze was reported at about 6:45 a.m. at 1005 Gleason St., said Fire Chief Clint Ishmael.
Neighbors told fire officials that they thought the man was in his 50s, and that he lived alone at the home, Ishmael said.
He declined to release his name until family members had been notified of the death.

"Details are sketchy now," Ishmael said. "We arrived on scene and the house was fully involved. It took 30-45 minutes before we could knock down the fire to make an entry."
Ishmael added that the man's car was still in the carport.
"I understand he has a son," Ishmael said.
The fire department's chaplain was trying to reach the son, the chief said. Meanwhile, he added, the fire marshal was at the scene trying to determine what caused the fire.
