A Waxahachie man was fatally shot early Friday during an argument at a bar in west Dallas, according to reports.
Victor Jimenez, 35, was identified by the Dallas County medical examiner's office.
The shooting was reported at 1:18 a.m. at the Passions, a sports bar near the intersection of Interstate 30 and Fort Worth Avenue, said Senior Cpl. Gerry Monreal, police spokesman.
"It was an argument that escalated, and apparently someone got shot," Monreal said.
