GRAPEVINE -- An 18-wheeler smashed into a disabled car Tuesday morning on a Texas 114 ramp, forcing police to close various lanes of the highway for more than two hours.
The truck driver who was not identified was taken to an area hospital, but his injuries were not life threatening, police said.
The accident was reported shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Texas 114.
The 18-wheeler was traveling on Texas 121 when it entered the Texas 114 ramp and hit the disabled car, police said. The truck then hit a light pole and veered off onto the eastbound lanes of Texas 114.
