GRAPEVINE -- Telephone service was restored Thursday morning at the city’s municipal court and police offices after being out for about three hours, officials said.
Emergency calls to dispatchers and 911 calls were not affected, police said.
Police officials were notified shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday that phone service was out and it would take several hours before it would be restored.
Along with municipal court and police offices, telephone service to the records division of the police department also were out for most of the morning, police said.

A cause for the telephone outage was not released Thursday morning.
