A gunman with a turtleneck pulled up over his face robbed a gas station late Tuesday in north Fort Worth, police said.
The robbery was reported at 11:40 p.m. at the Valero Station, 10880 N. Beach St., said Lt. Paul Henderson, police spokesman.
A man entered the store dressed in black but only his eyes were visible because of the way he had the sweater pulled up over his face and he wore a black ball cap, Henderson said.
He pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money while jacking a round into the chamber. He got $70 and left in a burgundy four-door car, possibly a Mazda, Henderson said.

The suspect was described as a black man, about 6-feet-5-inches tall, Henderson said. He wore white tennis shoes and his ball cap had a red "T" on it. His black shorts had some sort of writing on both back pockets, Henderson said.
"There are surveillance cameras at the Valero," Henderson said. "However, the manager last night was unable to retrieve the video or make a copy. Hopefully we will be able to obtain a copy sometime later this week."
