A five-mile traffic jam was slowly unwinding early Friday following a two-vehicle wreck on southbound Interstate 35W in north Fort Worth, according to reports.
The accident was reported at 6:41 a.m. near I-35W's intersection with Northeast 28th Street, according to a police report.
The wreckage was finally cleared around 8 a.m., according to reports.
It involved a silver four-door car and another vehicle of "unknown description," police said, but the wreckage was blocking a left lane.
It was unclear if anyone was hurt, but traffic was snarled north for about 5 miles to the merge with U.S. 287, according to Traffic.com.
