Crews at the Omni Fort Worth hotel hoisted a Norwegian pine tree to the top of the building, marking the completion of the hotel's 33rd floor.
At 447 feet, the hotel is now the sixth tallest skyscraper in downtown Fort Worth, behind the Burnett Plaza and the D.R. Horton Tower.
The hotel, adjacent to the Fort Worth Convention Center, is scheduled to open in January 2009 with 614 guest rooms.
