Man killed in Fort Worth crash is identified

A 19-year-old man fatally injured Sunday in a single-vehicle wreck in north Fort Worth has been identified as Jorge Terrones-Garcia, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Sgt. Rodney Bangs, supervisor of the traffic investigation unit, said Terrones-Garcia was driving a Ford pickup east in the 1600 block of N.W. 25th Street about 4 a.m. when he lost control of the truck and struck a building.

The man was taken to Harris Methodist Fort Worth hospital where he was later pronounced dead, Bangs said.

Bangs said it is unknown Tuesday what caused Terrones-Garcia to lose control of his pickup.
