KENNEDALE -- The body found Friday in a vacant lot in Kennedale has been identified as 36-year-old Jennifer Runyon, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner office.
No address is given for Runyon.
A Kennedale resident called authorities about 11:15 a.m. Friday after seeing her body under a tree in the 6800 block of Hudson Village Creek Road.
The body appeared to have been in the field for several days, police said Friday. The cause of death was not immediately apparent because of the decomposition, Police Chief Tommy Williams said Friday. The death is still under investigation police said Monday.
