Talk show radio host Russ Martin was live on the air Monday for the first time in more than a week, according to the station’s Web site.
Martin, 47, has been off the air since his arrest on July 18, after he was accused of beating his 27-year-old fiancee and brandishing a handgun during an argument on July 14.
For the past week, Martin's radio slot was been filled with The Best of the Russ Martin Show. The general manager, David Henry, told the Star-Telegram last week that he planned to keep Martin off the air because of the ongoing situation.
Martin was charged with aggravated assault-bodily injury with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. If Martin is convicted he could face up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
