A man was shot in the stomach late Tuesday in east Fort Worth, police said.
The incident was reported at about 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ben Avenue and East Lancaster Avenue, according to reports.
Witnesses told police that the shooting resulted from an argument over money, said Lt. Paul Henderson, police spokesman.
"Two Hispanic males confronted a black male," Henderson said. "They were seen arguing earlier about money."

One witness told police that the victim had taken money from one of the suspects on Monday, according to a police report.
Another witnesses reported hearing a shot; the victim then came to the witnesses' nearby hotel room and said he had been shot in the stomach, the report stated.
He was taken by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital where he was taken to surgery, but expected to survive, the police report stated.
No other information was immediately available Wednesday.
