A Grand Prairie man died over the weekend from injuries he suffered July 5 in a two-vehicle wreck in southwest Fort Worth, according to reports.
Zachary Retz, 21, died 5:04 p.m. Friday at John Peter Smith Hospital, the Tarrant County medical examiner reported.
The accident happened at 3 p.m. in the westbound lanes of SW Loop 820, said Lt. Arthur Barclay of the police traffic investigation unit.
Retz's sport utility vehicle collided with another SUV as he merged left onto the westbound lanes of SW Loop 820 from Bryant Irvin Road, Barclay said.

The other SUV was moving right into a center lane when the collision happened, Barclay said.
"Both collided and rolled down an embankment," Barclay said.
Another person was injured in the wreck, Barclay said. No other information was immediately available Monday morning.
