The robber was silent, but he got away with cash and cigarettes early Thursday from a convenience store in northwest Fort Worth, police said.
It happened shortly before 2 a.m. at the 7-Eleven, 8421 Boat Club Road, said Lt. Paul Henderson, police spokesman.
A gunman wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a white bandanna over his face confronted a store employee who was stocking shelves.
He pointed a pistol at the worker, Henderson said, "waiving him to go behind the counter."

Using hand gestures, the gunman motioned for the employee to put cash and two cartons of cigarettes into a paper bag, Henderson said.
"The suspect never spoke a word," Henderson said.
The worker was not hurt and the gunman walked out of the store, Henderson said.
A surveillance video camera recorded the robbery, but detectives were not ready to release the images on Thursday, Henderson said.
