Arlington police release photos of tattooed robbery suspect

ARLINGTON -- Police on Monday released pictures of a tattooed man who they said robbed a person outside a Valero convenience store last week in northwest Arlington.

The man's image was recorded on the store’s surveillance camera just before the robbery was committed outside.

The man can be seen wearing an open jacket that showed a large unidentified tattoo across his chest.

At around 10 p.m. Friday, the suspect walked inside the Valero store but did not purchase anything, according to police.

He then walked outside where he retrieved a handgun from a white Cadillac outside, according to police.

The man attempted to return to the store, but the clerk locked the door after noticing that the suspect looked suspicious, police said.

Unable to re-enter the store, the man then robbed a person in the parking lot, police said.

Police believe the man also robbed a person at the Chicken Express near Eastchase Parkway and Meadowbrook Boulevard, just west of the convenience store.

Police also have pictures of the man riding in the passenger seat of a white Cadillac. The Cadillac had a large spare wheel on the back and had custom rims on it.
