A 26-year-old man died Sunday from injuries he received when the car he was driving hit a fence north of Peaster in northwest Parker County, according to a report.
Maxwell Bardell, of Poolville, died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday at Harris Methodist Fort Worth hospital where he was taken following the wreck on Farm Road 920, the Tarrant County medical examiner reported.
A passenger, 19-year-old Steven Kern of Weatherford, was taken in serious condition to a hospital in Dallas.
The accident was reported at about 8:15 a.m. Sunday, according to a report from a Texas Department of Public Safety highway patrol office in Weatherford.

Bardell was driving a 1999 Acura Integra southbound on FM 920 about 1½ miles north of Peaster, the DPS reported.
The car came out of a curve to the left, but Bardell lost control and the car went into a side skid, according to the report.
It crossed over a northbound lane, exited the roadway, crossed a ditch, and then crashed into a pipe fence, according to the DPS.
Kern went to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, the DPS reported.
