A 33-year-old man suspected of trying to rape a woman at her house earlier this month was in jail on Saturday facing a charge of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit another felony.
Police said that on Nov. 10, Felipe Muñoz Juarez of Haltom City forced his way into a woman’s residence in the 5000 block of Huddleston Street and put his hand inside her pajamas.
The woman, who was sleeping at the time, woke up, grabbed a hammer and chased the suspect away, police said.
Investigators identified Juarez through fingerprints recovered at the scene, and arrested him about 11 a.m.
