A man's body was found by motorists Tuesday morning in the center median of Interstate 30 just east of Loop 820, police said.
The incident was reported at about 5:40 a.m. by a motorist who told police there was a body in the eastbound lanes of the 7500 block of Interstate 30, police spokesman Lt. Paul Henderson said.
Arriving police units reported that it appeared the man had been struck by at least one vehicle. Officers said the man was unresponsive and appeared to be dead when they arrived, Henderson said.
It is not known if the vehicle that struck the man stopped.
