DALLAS — Police are investigating what they believe to be a double homicide/suicide that occurred Tuesday at an east Dallas residence.
Janice Hill, 24 and her mother, Jeanne Carroll, 52, were found shot to death along with Hill’s husband, Keith Hill, 28, at a house in the 9600 block of Michael Lane, police said.
It appears that the woman and her mother were shot by the husband who then turned the rifle on himself, said Sgt. Gil Cerda, police spokesman.
An older woman who also lives at the residence told police she last saw Hill about 2 a.m. Tuesday, but called police after seeing one of the bodies in the bedroom about 1 p.m.

Police found the three bodies when they arrived, Cerda said.
Keith Hill was arrested on Oct. 23 for assaulting his wife Janice, but later released, Cerda said.
On Oct. 28, Janice Hill filed for an emergency restraining order, according to police.
On Nov. 9, Janice Hill complained to police that she was getting calls from a private number, but when she answered the telephone, no one would say anything, Cerda said.
