Two people were seriously injured and third also hospitalized after an accident just after midnight on I-35W, and alcohol is believed to be involved, Fort Worth police said.
A Jeep sport-utility vehicle, with five people on board, was headed southbound on I-35W when the driver attempted to exit at Rosedale Street, police said. The driver lost control and hit a concrete barrier head-on, ejecting two passengers, police said.
The two ejected passengers and a third who was also injured were hospitalized, police said. The driver and another passenger were not injured.
The driver was arrested at the scene and as been charged with two counts of intoxication assault, police said.
