Four people were hurt early Wednesday when a tractor trailer hauling a car wrecked with two other vehicles on Interstate 20 near the intersection with McCart Avenue, according to reports.
The accident, reported at 7:38 a.m., blocked two eastbound lanes, according to police.
A dispatcher for MedStar Ambulance Service said two people were taken to Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital.
Two other victims were probably children because, the dispatcher said, they were taken to Cook Children's Medical Center.
Medical conditions on the four people were unavailable late Wednesday morning.
Initial reports indicated that a vehicle had come loose from the flat-bed trailer that was being towed by the big rig.
Traffic, at 8:15 a.m., was backed up for about two miles to Hulen Street, Traffic.com reported. The interstate, however, was completely open an hour later.
