Keller girl, 18, dies from wreck injuries suffered in June

A teen-age girl from Keller has died Wednesday from injuries she suffered in a traffic accident last month in Roanoke, according to reports.

Lindsay Callahan, 18, died at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday in the intensive care unit at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office.

The accident happened June 17 in the 1600 block of Texas 377 near Marshall Creek Road.

Callahan was a passenger in a 2008 Toyota driven by Tyler Richards, 21, of Keller, according to Roanoke police reports.

The Toyota was northbound on the highway when Richards attempted to turn left and was hit by a 1999 Dodge Durango which was southbound, the reports state. The Durango was driven by Floyd Robinson, 58, of Keller.

Callahan was taken by helicopter ambulance to a Fort Worth hospital.

Robinson and Richards were taken to Baylor Medical Center at Grapevine. Their medical conditions were unavailable Thursday.

An investigation into the accident continued Thursday, Roanoke police said.
