FORT WORTH -- It took two hours to clear up a traffic accident that snarled traffic early Thursday on northbound Interstate 35W, just north of the Burleson city limits.
The accident was reported at 7:15 a.m. but officers cleared the scene at about 9:15 a.m., a police dispatcher said.
The accident on I-35W, also called the South Freeway, was near the exit for West Risinger Road, according to reports.
Congestion stretched about three miles, from Everman Parkway south to Rendon-Crowley Road, until the wreck was cleared up, Traffic.com reported.

One person was injured, according to police records. However, a dispatcher for MedStar Ambulance Service said his agency did not take anyone to the hospital.
