EULESS—Three experienced burglars cut their way into Southwest Airlines Credit Union at 801 West Euless Blvd. late Monday night and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Euless police said the burglars used drills to cut through the locking mechanism, disabled the burglar alarm and cut open the safe. Police said, that according to surveillance footage the burglars spent several hours emptying the safe’s contents.
"This wasn't their first day at the rodeo, these were experienced people," Lt. John Williams said.
Lt. Williams said police are following some leads, but have no suspects. The investigation is continuing and anyone who has information about the robbery can call Detective Brian Brennan at 817-685-3129.
The Euless location of Southwest Airlines Credit Union will reopen for business at 8:30 a.m. Thursday after repairs are made. Other area locations remain open Wednesday.
