ARLINGTON -- Police early Friday morning arrested a man who they said caused a head-on collision on the exit ramp to Texas 360 and Pioneer Parkway while fleeing police.
The man, who has not been identified, is being charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest, said Arlington police Lt. Blake Miller.
The man's minivan crashed into a PT Cruiser that was driven by a woman. Her condition was unknown Friday morning, but her injuries appeared to be minor, police said. They said she suffered leg injuries.
A police officer attempted to pull over the van on Carter Drive just east of Texas 360 at around 5:30 a.m. when a chase began, police said.

At some point the officer lost sight of the minivan, which then went the wrong way on the Pioneer Parkway exit loop where it struck a westbound PT Cruiser head-on, police said.
The minivan driver then fled on foot where he was later arrested on Susan Drive, just west of Texas 360.
The exit ramp was closed for a time while police investigated the crash and wreckers removed the damaged vehicles.
