Pair hold up Richland Hills store

RICHLAND HILLS — Two armed bandits forced an employee who had just finished his shift back into a store late Monday then took an undisclosed amount of money and lottery tickets before they fled, police said.

No one was injured in the holdup at JJ’s Fastrac in the 7400 block of Baker Boulevard.

The robbery happened about 11:30 p.m. Monday.

An employee told police that he was walking out of the store when he was confronted by the two men, each brandishing a handgun. He was ordered back into the store, where another employee was working, police said.

After taking the money and tickets, the bandits fled the store, police said.
