FORT WORTH -- A woman robbed a north Fort Worth Whataburger at gunpoint early Tuesday, police said.
The woman, who was described as African American, about 5 feet 3 inches and 230 pounds, entered the business at 109 NE 29th St. at about 2 a.m. and pointed a handgun at a clerk, said Lt. Paul Henderson, a police spokesman.
The clerk opened the register and the woman "grabbed a fistful of money."
She fled with a man who had been standing at the door, apparently as a look-out, Henderson said. They left in a dark-colored sedan.
