IRVING -- A murder warrant was issued Monday for a 35-year-old Dallas man accused in the shooting death of another man who was with his ex-girlfriend, police said.
Police identified the suspect as Gerardo Reyna who they said fled the scene after the Sunday night shooting.
The victim was identified as Carlos Membreno, 22, who died at Baylor Medical Center at Irving.
The shooting happened about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Ross Drive.

Membreno was shot multiple times after a brief confrontation with Reyna, police said.
Reyna is accused of shooting Membreno after he saw his ex-girlfriend with the 22-year-old victim.
Investigators believe Reyna could still be in the Dallas area.
Police said the weapon had not been recovered and Reyna should be considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities encouraged residents to call local police departments for any information on Reyna’s whereabouts
