Eastbound traffic on Texas 10 is shut down to one lane near Euless Main Street. Drivers should seek an alternate route.
A 67-year-old man was transported by helicopter ambulance late Wednesday afternoon after his pickup was struck by another vehicle on Texas 10, also known as Euless Boulevard.
Witnesses said the pickup driver was hauling a trailer westbound on Texas 10 about 5 p.m. and was turning left onto Martha Street when a gray sedan hit the truck, separating it from the trailer.
The pickup's driver-side door was tied closed with a rope, and the man was not wearing a seatbelt, said Sr. Cpl. Scott Peterson. The driver, who was not identified, was ejected and suffered a head injury. He was taken to Harris Methodist Fort Worth.
