1 hurt in apparent road-rage shooting in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH -- A man was shot this morning in southwest Fort Worth in what appears to be a road rage incident, police said.

Police responded to a 9:50 a.m. call in the 4200 block of Southwest Boulevard after 10 shots were fired in the area, said Fort Worth police Lt. Paul Henderson.

Drivers in two vehicles were involved in an altercation of some type and stopped at a light, Henderson said.

Both drivers rolled down their windows, when one of them said “you know me” and fired several shots into the passenger side door of the other vehicle, hitting the other man in the buttocks, Henderson said.

The man's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, Henderson said.

Police are searching for the shooter.
