$10,000 reward renewed for information on Irving father

IRVING -- Officials have renewed a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Yaser Abdel Said, who is wanted in connection with the Jan. 1 slayings of his two teenage daughters.

Sarah Said, 17, and Amina Said, 18, were found fatally shot in their father's taxicab in the parking lot of a Las Colinas hotel. Family and friends have said Yaser Said was angry because the girls were dating non-Muslim boys.

Said, 51, has not been seen since the shootings.

Police said he is believed to be armed with a handgun. He is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Irving police at 972-721-2535.
