Trent Petty, the former town manager of Westlake and the former city manager of Grapevine, has been appointed to the Tarrant County Hospital District Board, which oversees the JPS Health Network.
County Commissioner Gary Fickes appointed Petty, who now operates a consulting firm for economic and municipal development.
"Trent is well-qualified and well-credentialed to serve on this important board," said Fickes.
Petty co-founded the Westlake Academy and served as its chief executive from 2002-2006.
He has served on the Baylor Regional Medical Center Grapevine Board of Trustees since 1999, where he chaired the Economic Development Task Force and Finance Committee before being selected as chairman of the board in 2006.
