A traffic accident that caused a backup of at least a mile on eastbound I-30 about 1 p.m. Saturday was cleared within an hour, police said.
At least four vehicles appeared to have been involved in the pileup. Police and emergency personnel were on the scene just east of the Lancaster Avenue split shortly after 1 p.m.
Three lanes were closed on I-30 up to a quarter-mile west of Beach Street.
This is roughly the same area where an unidentified man jumped to his death Friday night after being pursued by police.
