FORT WORTH -- A man being pursued by police was killed Friday night when he stopped his car on northbound U.S. 287 and jumped over the guardrail, landing in a lane of eastbound Interstate 30, police reported.
Police were following the man, who was driving erratically, after observing him try to pick up a prostitute, an officer said.
At 9:40 p.m., only one lane of traffic in I-30 was moving.
