A Keller intermediate school lost electricity Wednesday afternoon after an 18-wheeler overturned and knocked down a power line.
The power line was dangling over the east entrance of Trinity Meadows Intermediate School in far north Fort Worth. The school was temporarily locked down for safety's sake, district spokeswoman Shellie Johnson said.
Administrators planned to walk students to the neighboring Trinity Springs Middle School shortly after 2 p.m. and would release the students from there.
Further details on the accident were not available.
